Nutritious Chocolate Milk
Blend:
1/2 scoop of protein powder
1 scoop collagen
2 Brazil nuts (or 1/4 c. cashews)
1/2 medium date (or 1 small date)
1.5 Tbsp. cacoa powder
1 Tbsp. maca powder (optional)
1/2 tsp. ceylon or Saigon cinnamon
Pinch of Himalayan salt
1.5 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk or unsweetened milk of choice
Pro tip:
Add in 1 cup frozen greens. I promise you won't taste them!
This delicious chocolate milk is great post workout! I love this recipe because it does the job of providing you with the protein and carbs you need post workout, while filling your body up with lots of important nutrients. Many post workout powders and beverages do just the opposite, filling your body with artificial sweeteners and harmful additives. I always find myself looking forward ot having it after a workout, sometimes making me push a little harder to get to it quicker!
